This could prove to be almost as entertaining as the progressive dissolution of the Anglican Communion.

All they need do is repeal the Act of Union of 1707 and work from there. But I suppose that wouldn’t allow a sufficient number of politicians to pee in the soup first.

    So can I assume–if the referendum is passed–that at some point in the future you will be saying, “Remind me of how things were so much worse under the English crown.”?

    BTW, the Act of Union, even if repealed, assumes a Scottish monarch. Think they can scare up one of James’ descendents at this late date?
