Does Jeremiah Wright Have a Place in This Campaign?

Other than Under the Bus, of course.
I have often suspected that the reason Barack Obama adopted Wright as his preacher was that he wanted to be around a ‘black’ man who looks whiter than he is. Part of his attempt to self-identify as black, no doubt.
When we see on the news and in the papers ‘black people’ like Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Jeremiah Wright, and Colin Powell, who would be taken for white in any part of sub-Saharan Africa, can one wonder at Elizabeth Warren pretending to be a Cherokee?
