UK Muslim Council: women cannot debate wearing veil
17th April 2011
The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) said that not covering the face is a “shortcoming” and suggested that any Muslims who advocate being uncovered could be guilty of rejecting Islam.
The statement quotes from the Koran: “It is not for a believer, man or woman, that they should have any option in their decision when Allah and his Messenger have decreed a matter.”

No masks in public. If a woman must wear a mask then she must be accompanied by a person who is unmasked. Preferably, according to the Quran, a male family member.

Does a bag over her head count? A roommate of mine in college brought several ‘girls’ to the apartment that definitely required such an accessory. I did not check to see if they were Muslims. In fact, I’m not entirely sure all of them were the same species. Sometimes ‘not knowing’ is a good thing.
Another thought on the topic: Considering that Islam doesn’t allow for debate, isn’t it surprising that the ‘progressives’ and LSM believe that Libya or Egypt will become democracies? Democracy and Islam are not compatible, if for no other reason than the lack of debate.

With a noose around his neck, for convenience.

I suspect that ‘debate’ in Islam consists of blowing up someone you disagree with. But that’s just a guess.
