Best Places to Work – Employees’ Choice Awards

15th December 2010

Read it.

This is from some outfit named Glassdoor.com, and I have no idea what qualifies them to issue these awards. Nevertheless, I am eager to embrace any external validation of the fact that my employer (whoever it may be) will never be on one of these lists.

I guess there’s no reason to have a list of “Worst Companies to Work For”. It would just set a new bar for management to crawl under.

All you really need to know about corporations can be found in “Dilbert”.

Actually, I think that a Worst Companies to Work For would be more valuable; there’d certainly be more incentive to get off of that list than to get on the Best list. Unfortunately I suspect that it would be swamped by dinky local firms. Pity.
