It’s stunning to me that the CIA – for all their supposed power and treachery – cannot locate or eliminate one pissant in Pakistan.
The conspiratorial part of my brain says that there may be more to this that it appears. Bin Laden does come from a very wealthy and influential Saudi family – the very definition of ‘crust’.
But, no, our government would never let money and influence prevent them from doing what’s right. Would they? I mean, that would be like old Chicago politics or something…
