DYSPEPSIA GENERATION

We have seen the future, and it sucks.

Moon Day

21st July 2010

On June 20th, 1969, a human being set foot on the moon. I remember that day.

So does Jerry Pournelle: ‘When I was reading science fiction  in high school I never doubted that I would live to see the first man on the Moon. I didn’t think I would live to see the last one.’

Quite frankly, neither did I. But it’s looking increasingly likely.

One Response to “Moon Day”

  1. Rick Says:

It’s interesting to contrast the Dem. Party of the early 1960’s with the current party. John Kennedy’s famous, “We choose to go to the moon in this decade…” speech is about as far removed from the current ‘NASA reaching out to the Muslim world’ era as the moon is from the Earth.

Nikita Khruschev would be shocked to see how Marxist the current administration is. The Soviets didn’t have to bury us; we dug the hole and covered it over ourselves.
