Many long-time iSteve themes converged at last night’s Grammy Awards ceremony: People who think Beyonce should win all the Grammys instead of just more than anybody else ever has, Tom Wolfe’s discovery of modern America’s obsession with Plaques for Blacks, black husbands gallantly making fools of themselves for their wives at awards shows, and how white people assume blacks must suffer from low self-esteem and thus must be protected at all costs from learning anything non-flattering about themselves.
