The late Sam Kinison used to do a bit where he’d scream to the starving people in some African country that was in the news, “IT’S A DESERT! THERE’S NO FOOD! LEAVE NOW!” His suggestion was that, instead of food, we should send luggage.
Which brings me back to the subject of Michigan, which has been going broke since at least 1970. “THERE ARE NO JOBS! THE CAR INDUSTRY IS NOT COMING BACK! THE UNION LIED, THE COMPANY IS RUN BY IDIOTS, AND THE PEOPLE YOU ELECTED MAKE THEM LOOK SMART! EITHER LEAVE OR JUST SHUT UP!!”
Much like the warning on a pack of cigarettes, some people are not capable of absorbing reality within the span of years that they live.
