In fairness, saying the Vice President “is not doing her job” overlooks one glaring fact. The Vice President has virtually no powers other than to cast a tie breaking vote in the Senate. In world history, there are probably few more glaring examples of a person with no power who is next in line to being one of the world’s most powerful.
