Freeloading in the Canaries

Over the past few years a massive flood of illegal migrants from the African continent has arrived in the Canary Islands, and now there is a large backlog of culture-enrichers living on the islands who have neither been repatriated nor moved on to the Land of Milk and Honey, a.k.a. the European Union. Efforts to deport refused asylum seekers to their home countries have come to naught — the entire repatriation program is just a sham.
