Doing some work in Maine and we were about to drive back to the airport. The plant foreman told us to watch out for moose. We laughed. He looked concerned and told us that he really meant that. A moose is more-or-less a big cow on stilts. If you hit it with a car, the body will come flying into your windshield and then into your lap. If you’re trying to make time through those back roads, you just might hit one.
