Had a boss, David, who was a hoarder. The small file room we had was piled with old computers, typewriters, etc. All of it useless, out of date, and in some cases broken. David had jury duty one day and I went to his boss, Phil. “Phil, what would you do with all this stuff?” Phil: “I’d throw it away.”
When David returned, we were just hauling out the last of the junk to the dumpster. David: “What are you doing?!?” Me: “Phil said, ‘throw it away’, so that’s what we’re doing.” David: “Well, if that’s what Phil wants…”
