Group of Bipartisan Senators Wants to Make Upcoming Daylight Savings Last Time Americans Change Their Clocks
10th March 2021
The Sunshine Protection Act of 2021 would only apply to states who currently participate in DST by getting rid of Standard Time, which lasts between November and March when clocks are turned back one hour. If passed, Americans wouldn’t be forced to change their clocks twice a year.
Well, to begin with, there’s no such thing as a ‘group of bipartisan senators’. There may be a ‘bipartisan group of senators’, but that’s not the same thing. (When did ‘journalists’ stop knowing how to write English?)
Why not get rid of ‘daylight saving’ time and return to the Good Old Days when noon meant that the sun was straight overhead? Why do these people always have to pee in the soup just so that they can say they Made A Difference?
Better yet, get the law out of the time business entirely.

I love ya, brother, but can’t go with you on this one. For me and a fair number of my turtle tribe, eternal DST is perfect for our best psychological affect.
