Q: Why is it that only Democrats want D.C. and Puerto Rico to be states?

A; Because they want four more guaranteed Senators.

If they could revoke Alaska’s statehood, I’m sure they would.

    They don’t have to revoke Alaska’s statehood. Lisa Murkowski is a pretty reliable Democrat, although she calls herself a Republican.
