There was a TV special a few years ago that went back and re-interviewed people involved in the JFK assassination. The most intriguing part to me was when they interviewed a former Marine who served with Oswalt. He said that when he heard about the assassination, he thought, “What kind of a nut job would do such a thing?”. When Oswalt’s name came out on the news, the former Marine said he immediately thought, “Oh, yeah. That’s exactly who would do it”.
Makes me think he was basically a loaded weapon that only needed to be pointed in the desired direction.
