If you drive through the Yukon, or northern British Columbia, you’ll see Moose on the road, licking the pavement. They take their time, which can be annoying when you have many miles to go.

Did some work at a plant in Maine and as we were leaving, the plant manager said, “Be careful and don’t hit any moose!” We laughed, thinking it was a joke they pulled on outsiders, but then he said, “No, seriously, they’re like cows on stilts. If you hit one it will end up in your lap.”
