Just got back from a quick trip to the grocery store. I shouldn’t have been shocked, but I was when I saw the number of people with masks and gloves. Most of the masks are basically just sneeze guards and won’t protect the person wearing it at all. Because latex gloves are nowhere to be found, people were wearing all sorts of gloves. Again, what do they think they are protecting? The grocery store is washing all the carts after use, then wiping the handles down with disinfectant before giving them to customers. Meanwhile, every booger-pickin’ customer is happily typing pin numbers into the credit card machines.

My neighbor is sure that mail has to be kept out in the garage for a week before it’s safe to handle. She got that information from her office. She works for the U.S. government. You would think by now she would realize that she works for idiots, but apparently not.

We’re living in the Twilight Zone.
