The results of socialism are always the same – i.e., failure – but in the USA we refer to socialists as “Democrats”.
There is some theory that this mislabeling is because the Communist Party USA doesn’t want to be associated with the slime balls that lead the Democratic Party and has quietly threatened to sue them. Totally unsubstantiated, but not unbelievable.
