Here it comes, the reaction I’ve been predicting since Sept. 11. No matter how craven the politicians may be, the common people know what’s at stake, and when the government refuses to protect the nation, the nation will take steps to protect itself.
It starts on the fringe, with those who are inclined to adopt violence in their daily lives as a matter of course, but as things get worse it will more and more penetrate the community.
