He made Texas Monthly’s annual bloopers list one year when he responded to a group trying to get support for the Texas Eagle (antique steam train) and Gore responded with a lengthy diatribe about the importance of birds to our environment. (Texas Monthly, for those who don’t know, is a leftist rag with 5 pages of content hidden in 100 pages of advertising.)

The Penguin was a character in the old Batman cartoons, and he was a crook. Al Gore supporting a crook shouldn’t surprise anyone.
