Dollar coins!
After using a parking lot that returned change in dollar coins, I was at a restaurant with a bakery next door. My wife wanted a cookie, so I went over to buy one. It came to 98 cents, so I tossed the 20-ish girl behind the counter a dollar coin and said to keep the change. She picked it up, looked it over, and said, “What do you expect me to do with this?”
After I got done laughing, I pointed out that it was indeed “money”. She eventually shrugged and put it in the cash register.
Fun with dollar coins! I may need a trip to the bank for a roll or two.
