Someone paid attention to history. Back in the days when telegraph – and later radio – communications relied on Morse Code, it was not unusual for operators to “recognize” the guy on the other end by the way he keyed the message.
Keyboards are more complex, but people are still people and have their unique ways of composing and typing. Probably even more evident now that kids don’t have to study typing.
