Ancient Temple Shows Comet Struck Earth in 11,000 BC

24th April 2017

Read it.

The study found evidence of the comet engraved on a pillar in the world’s oldest temple at G?bekli Tepe in Southern Turkey. The engraving indicates the comet killed thousands, wiping out many large animal species, and triggering a miniature ice age lasting 1,000 years.

Oddly enough, all life on earth was not destroyed. So I wouldn’t sweat the ‘global warming’ scare.

Well, not that global warm is a threat, but there are theories about that civilization was merely rebuilt after the ice age, and folks were copying the few remaining structures that were still around. If there were a catastrophe now, what would be around in 10,000 years except maybe Mt. Rushmore?

That would certainly confuse the aliens when they come. ‘Realy? They put Teddy Roosevelt in the same group with Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln? REALLY?’

A paper authored by two engineers, interpreting an archaeological site by referencing astronomy, two fields completely outside their expertise.
In other news, two professional fishermen have interpreted tooth formation by referencing geologic layers.

Can it get any more Chariots of the Gods? Von Daniken should sue for plagiarism. (More fitting Blavatsky, but she’s dead.)

In yet other news, Democrat politicians who have never worked for anyone other than the government lecture the rest of us on what is or is not Real Science, pushing as their expert somebody who plays a scientist on TV. I’m surprised they didn’t dig up the body of Mr Wizard and prop him up with a sign saying GLOBAL WARMING! GLOBAL WARMING! GLOBAL WARMING!
