The real problem, of course, is the mismatch in power in these Degenerate Modern Times between a member of a royal family and the Drive-By Media. In the Good Old Days (and, probably, in the Arab world today), such people had minions, henchmen, and goons, and a quiet word would lead to the offending ink-stained wretch getting the snot beat out of him in an alley somewhere, which would serve as a reminder to the rest to mind their manners.
