WaPo Buries Race, Gender of ‘Youths’ Who Went on DC Robbery Spree
3rd November 2016
Mobs of teenagers committed four violent robberies on the streets of Northwest, D.C., in affluent neighborhoods that are relatively crime free Monday night. Descriptions of most of the assailants remain vague, however one victim described one of her attackers as a roughly 18-year-old black female, standing roughly five feet five, thin and with black hair, according to The Washington Post.
Another victim of one of the mob robberies described a six feet tall male in their late teens, wearing a ski mask. It is unclear if the robberies are related, but the location and timing of the attacks make it possible.
In their profile of the robbery spree, The Washington Post details each incident but declines to discuss descriptions of the suspects until the end of the story.
