    A rare disagreement here. Some classical and patristic literature is only preserved in Ge’ez. So this is not an ethnic pseudo course but potentially really and valuable.

    Ethiopia was converted to Christianity in the 5th c. AD after Greek sailors were shipwrecked on the coast, while on the trade route down the Red Sea to India. A custom grew that the head of the Ethiopic church was appointed by the Coptic pope, so books came there from the Greek, Coptic and later Christian Arabic world.
