Video Shows Syrian Rebels Fire US-made Missile at Russian Tank

A good shot, right on the turret — not a great shot, which would have aimed for the junction of the turret and the hull; but perhaps they wanted the guys inside to escape, as you see one do in the final frames.
I doubt that it did much damage, since TOWs have shaped charges and a jet of red-hot copper that actually penetrated would have made it impossible for that guy to get out less than a minute later — but it probably scared the shit out of the crew and they bailed. So, mission accomplished.

This is what the Russia sympathizers now in outrage call “latest American weapons given to terrorists”.
A missile developed between 1963 and 1968, deployed in US armed forces in 1971 (hence the name BGM-71), hitting a tank model that was deployed in Russian army in 2004 (T-90A).
The tank crew is either not expecting an attack at all, or doesn’t know how to operate the countermeasures equipment in the tank. Or they just don’t work.
