Ohio U. Race Protest Group Wants Establishment of Mandatory ‘Cultural Competency’ Courses
18th January 2016
Members of the Ohio University activist group Black Lives Action Coalition (BLAC) want to see compulsory “cultural competency” courses established for the spring of 2017.
We could hold them out in the woods and call them Re-Education Camps.
And people could be expelled for racist/sexist/homophobe/whatever ThoughtCrime! Yeah, that’s the ticket.

My alma mater. Needless to say, I was often politically at odds with a large portion of the university. I can’t address their current situation, but when I went there the vast majority of the minority (let’s be honest: black) students were from Cleveland, in great part because OU would accept applications right up until classes started and grant money was often late getting approved. There is a reason people refer to Cleveland as The Mistake On The Lake. In those pre-cell phone days, the hot thing for those Cleveland folks to do was to steal the handsets from pay phones and then drive around pretending to talk on a car phone. Time and technology have changed, but the same hot air is being wasted.
