One Response to “Driver Cheats Death After 500Kg Cow Crash Lands on Car in Pyrenees”
A cop told me that the strangest accident he ever witnessed involved a drunk driver that crashed into a house being moved down the highway. He was going so fast that the entire top of the car was sheared off and the body of the car was completely under the house. Blood and guts were all over and they didn’t even bother looking for the guy. Then the cops started hearing someome yelling for them from under the house. They pried open the floor and to their eternal amazement, there was the driver – mostly unhurt. Turned out that in an amazing coincidence, a horse had gotten out on the road and the driver hit the horse, which fell mostly into his lap and pushed him down in the seat, and then the car hit under the house. The blood and guts the initial responders saw were from the horse. The smashed up horse parts shielded the driver from both being decapitated and the impact when the car stopped.

Luck sometimes comes in unusual forms.
