I imagine that it does, but the proper degree course in that case is ‘biochemistry’. ‘Viticulture and Oenology’ might do for a research field, or a professional certification, but not a degree course.

I might disagree with you on the “Viticulture and Enology” degree. I can see where some serious biochemistry might be put to use.
