One Response to “‘Superman’s decision to discard his bright red underwear is rather disappointing’”
The Telegraph is simply displaying their ignorance. In the 1930s, when Superman’s costume was first drawn, tights were held up with trunks. They are annoyed that Superman in the 21st century will wear Lycra rather than 1930s material. This is akin to being annoyed that James Bond no longer drives a 50s-era Aston-Martin, or that Blondie and Dagwood now use cell phones.
