I know this is just a front-end and you dont get many comments but I have to respond to this. The reason humans dont vary as much as other animals is because we stand on our toes and look each other in the eyes. If there were loads of people that were 7 feet tall they would feel really silly and would have to marry other 7 foot tall people, and since humans tended to live in little villages for most of our history, they would have been pretty lonely. Same goes for the really short people, except that malnutrition would have created some more of them.
