  1. Dennis Nagle Says:

Um, they don’t teach military history or tactics, either. Yet the POTUS is still the Commander In Chief.

The President need not be expert in all things; he has advisors to fill in the blanks. Like Wolfowitz, who was certain that the Iraq war would be a cakewalk.

  2. Whitehawk Says:

No military tactics, no economics at Harvard Law School, but refusing to learn from your mistakes and change course, they DO teach that at Harvard Law School.

  3. Dennis Nagle Says:

…and you know this because you attended? Or are you just being gratuitously anti-intellectual?

  4. Tim of Angle Says:

I have friends and classmates who went to Harvard Law, something that I doubt you can say with any truthfulness.

  5. Dennis Nagle Says:

Nor did I claim that I could.
I also didn’t make any blanket statements disparaging Harvard graduates; that was Whitehawk. Perhaps you should vent your ire in his direction.

Or would you like to second Whitehawk’s assessment? Feel free to do so. I’m much more likely to listen to an informed opinion.

  6. Tim of Angle Says:

I will happily make disparaging statements about Harvard graduates at the drop of a hat. Boola Boola.

I will also as readily make disparaging statement about affirmative action products like Barack Obama.

  7. Dennis Nagle Says:

Well, he may have been affirmative-actioned in (to coin a phrase), but they don’t have an affirmative-action quota for graduating; he got that all on his own. So disparage away.

And I should have known better than to ask a Yalie about Harvard men; an objective opinion is not to be had from that quarter.
