A noble idea, perhaps, but one has to think that it’s a lot more cost-effective to desalinate water than to condense it from essentially dry air. Starting with water is always going to be an easier path.
Of course, the deal here is “solar” and “desert”, so that investors can imply that it’s both clean and intended to help some part of the 3rd World.
