Bush cost $844,000, including $56,000 for travel. More than half of Bill Clinton\u2019s $1 million in expenses covered his $586,000 office rent. Jimmy Carter claimed $517,000, including $15,000 for postage.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Well, you know &#8212; I think half a mil is a cheap price to pay to make sure that Jimmy Carter isn&#8217;t President any more. And don&#8217;t get me started on Bill Clinton.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, if we could get rid of Barack Obama for a guarantee of $2 million a year, I don&#8217;t doubt that there would be some rich Republicans who&#8217;d be happy to step up to the plate and cover the cost.
