A fungal parasite that infects ants and manipulates their behavior to benefit the fungus’ reproduction accomplishes this feat without infecting the ants’ brains, according to a study led by Penn State researchers.

I’ll bet you didn’t know that.

    Socialism works best in an ant colony. It is not a stretch to assume that most socialists have ant- like brains. Now, it’s not a stretch to guess that it may be a fungal infection that makes their behavior so dysfunctional.
