Homeland Security Agent Seizes Notes From a Reporter Who Wrote Critical Stories

29th October 2013

Read it.

The Washington Times is preparing a lawsuit after federal agents raided the Maryland home of award-winning investigative reporter Audrey Hudson and confiscated her notes.

The agents had a warrant, but it was for unregistered firearms suspected of belonging to her husband. Only after they left did Hudson realize that some of her notes, which included interviews with confidential sources, were missing. The notes pertained to her reporting on problems within the Department of Homeland Security’s federal air marshal service.

During the raid, a Homeland Security agent asked Hudson if she was the reporter who had written the air marshal stories for the Times.

How’s that Hope & Change thing workin’ out for ya?

Welcome to Chicago politics at it’s finest.

This brings up a subject that piqued my curiosity: What happens at the end of Obama Magnus’ Reign? Some friends were discussing the next presidential election at dinner last night and what might have to be done to combat Hillary’s election to the throne. I pointed out that Obama is not a singular entitity; he has an entire support group of fellow Chicago-style politicos. Do you actually believe that they are willing to give up the lucrative territory they’ve taken over? What in Chicago history would lead you to believe that?? They will happily throw Hillary under the bus (or under a building under construction) to keep one of their own running the DC operation. No, I’m not crazy enough to think Biden is their guy, but they could float Rahm E. Or there could be a new face, but somehow, someway, it will be a member of the Chicago Machine that shows up on the Left’s side of the ticket. (IMSHO) No way are they going to give up the intimidation and extortion racket they’ve worked so hard to develop.
