Uncovering Union Violence
15th January 2013
Union violence against non-unionized workers and their employers is an under-reported story. Everyone knows it happens but they look the other way. It’s hard to look the other way, however, when the violence and vandalism is videotaped and put on the web–that’s what two Philadelphia developers did and the result is making waves far beyond the workplace.

Technology is good, but as someone who has seen this stuff first-hand, I must point out that there are union folks who have no objection to murdering those who do not go along with the program. The police (often union themselves) and federal agencies like OSHA will not investigate a motive for a steel beam falling on someone’s head. Good people – even union members – have been killed for just working harder than others deem necessary.
