Number of Female Senators Tripled in the Last 20 Years

Why is that important? Well, it isn’t, really, except to the people who think that if X politically-fashionable victim group doesn’t have a number of Senators equivalent to the percentage of X politically fashionable victim group in the overall population, They Are Being Oppressed.
Of course, this logic is equally valid for left-handed people, blondes, and those with acne, but somehow these categories never seem to make it into the headlines. Wonder why that is.
I have to keep reminding myself that Wisdom and Intelligence are two different rolls.
