   He does have a CHL. That’s how he could carry the Ruger LCP that he shot a coyote with while jogging with his dog.

   Ruger came out with a limited-run “Coyote Special” LCP pistol because of that incident. The box is stamped “For Texas Only”. Perry has been nice enough to autograph the box for anyone who owner who asks.
