We have seen the future, and it sucks.

Episcopal Diocese of NY nominates five for bishop, including married lesbian priest

29th August 2011

Read it.

It’s like watching a snowman melt in the sun.

I’m waiting for them to give up on this whole ‘Christian’ thing as being insufficiently inclusive.

  1. Dennis Nagle Says:

Aw, the poor little Christian girl posted a comment and got a lot of negative feedback from people who don’t agree with her.
Cry me a river. It’s the internet.

  2. Dennis Nagle Says:

I’m curious; did Jesus ever mention anything about gays or lesbians? I’ve read the New Testament from cover to cover and can’t seem to find the reference. Any of you “Christians” out there want to lend a hand?

  3. Tim of Angle Says:

No, but Paul did. Keep practicing, you’ll eventually learn how to read.

  4. Dennis Nagle Says:

REally? Well, since you’re so erudite, perhaps you would care to share chapter and verse? Not that I doubt you, understand…

(And last I looked, Paul wasn’t Jesus–or was he?)

  5. Dennis Nagle Says:

That’s it: We’ll call it Paulianity, since he seems to have had so much more of an influence on the course of thing than the teacher he purports to follow.

So now I realize I don’t despise Christians, I despise Paulians. I’ll sleep better tonight knowing I’ve straightened that out.
