Time magazine’s Joe Klein said on this weekend’s “The Chris Matthews Show” Barack Obama has a better relationship with the military than George W. Bush did.

Almost on cue, Gallup released a poll Monday finding military personnel and veterans give Obama lower marks than the rest of the population:

My, what a surprise. Aren’t you surprised? I’m sure surprised.

Actually, the greatest surprise is not that a Voice of the Crust would assert any expertise on what the military feel, but rather that any human being with an IQ greater than that of a carrot would believe such an assertion.
