Airborne killer robot destroys Libyan anti-aircraft missile

In news which will send a cold chill down the necks of fast-jet pilots and air forces around the world, it has been announced that an unmanned “Predator” drone has destroyed a heavy Libyan surface-to-air missile in Tripoli on Sunday.
And they said Flight Simulator was a waste of time….

A friend sent me a video of the Switchblade – a backpack carried, remote controlled aircraft (and explosive) designed for the Iraq/Afghan fight. If you haven’t already seen it, you might want to look for it. It definitely falls into the ‘I want one’ category.
