When even the Washington Post is coming to the defense of Tom DeLay, one can be sure that something isn’t quite right with the former House majority leader’s prosecution and conviction.
That’s because it’s a totally ginned-up political show-trial, which is why it was brought in Travis county, that gleaming blue pustule in an otherwise healthy red state.

Houston. You’re forgetting Houston and the whole Gulf Coast south of Houston down to the border. It just makes me sick. The corruption, the gangs … it just makes me sick.
