In many instances, the likelihood of an individual succeeding (no matter what the goal) will be dependant on how uncomfortable that person is prepared to get and for how long.

Very true. That’s the major difference between me and Bill Gates, for example; he’s just willing to work harder than I am. (Oh, and having rich SWPL parents probably helped, too — and I doubt that he had to spend six years in the military during the Vietnam War to pay for his time in the Ivy League, as I did. But still.)
