Cows absolved of causing global warming with nitrous oxide

The current process appears to be:
- Scientists come out with a study suggesting that there may be a problem. (‘Cow flatulence causes a lot of methane.’)
- Crustians panic because the world is doomed and go around shouting at people to reverse the last 10,000 years of human history. (‘OMG! Stop eating meat or the planet is doomed and we’re all going to die – think about the children!’)
- Scientists come out with another study that says ‘Never mind!’
- Crustians don’t apologize or anything but persist in acting as if the first study were still God’s Own Truth (not that they believe in God, you understand, or at least in any God that you would recognize).
