Trump Plays the Media Again: No White House Tapes

Mystery solved: No, President Trump doesn’t have recordings of former FBI director James Comey.
“With all of the recently reported electronic surveillance, intercepts, unmasking and illegal leaking of information, I have no idea … whether there are ‘tapes’ or recordings of my conversations with James Comey, but I did not make, and do not have, any such recordings,” Trump said in a pair of tweets Thursday.
Trump did not explain why he made the suggestion that he secretly recorded conversations with his former FBI director in the first place, which came in a May tweet shortly after he fired Comey.
He was yanking the chains of the DemLegHump Media. He does that now and again just to keep his hand in.
Pass the popcorn.

I could have told everyone that there are no “tapes”, and never had been.
The fact is that if he’d had the tapes he’d have produced them, assuming they substantiated his version vs. Comey’s.
He didn’t, so therefore: A) they never existed, or B) they didn’t back up his version of the story.
Which leaves us with Comey’s testimony unchallenged. Trump the Liar In Chief once again.

And “yanking the media’s chain” is permissible, if deplorable.
But he also “yanked the chain” of the American public, which is a trait not desirable in a president.
No one can ever depend on anything he says.

Which is why nobody with intelligence (which excludes Democrats and their sock-puppets in the media) listens to what he says. The American people look at what he does, which is why his supporters love him.

Comey’s testimony boiled down to (a) Trump isn’t and wasn’t under investigation, despite DemLegHump desperation to find something, and (b) Trump made him fearful, which says more about him than about Trump. That ‘unchallenged’ testimony is right in line with what Trump has always been saying.
Democratspeak: Telling the truth = Liar in Chief. Everybody needs to remember that.

You can find a list of Trump’s accomplishments merely by listening to left-wing whining. Illegal immigration is down and the stock market is up. We don’t have a racist fascist for Attorney Genereal any more, and our Secretary of Defense is one of the most respected military theorist in a generation. A lot of Obama’s stupid regulations have been cancelled, and we on track to get rid of his stupid health care plan.
Liar in Chief? That would be ‘If you like your plan, you can keep your plan’ Obama. That would be ‘Hillary is the most qualified candidate ever’ Obama. That would be ‘You didn’t build that’ Obama.
