Did some work as an environmental consultant for a beer company’s can manufacturing operation. A fairly big operation, yet the most complex part – painting the logo and lettering on the outside – is done in a tiny piece of equipment less than a foot long. Environmentally, that’s also the biggest source of problems.
Also did some work for a can recycler. It is not nearly as eco-friendly as the TV ads would make you think.
