Forget Harvard: Here’s Where to Go to College if You Want a High-Paying Job

Read it.

Want a prestigious education? Harvard, Yale, and Princeton are the way to go. But if you’re looking for a high-paying career after graduation, you may want to look elsewhere.

It’s too late for me, but the rest of you might have a chance.

This is probably a fallacy of averages: Harvard, Yale and Princeton have a lot of liberal arts students. They won’t be paid after they graduate. The universities whose graduates, on the average, have a high-paying career are universities where STEM subjects are a majority – engineers, doctors, economists.

But if you can study STEM in Harvard, Yale or Princeton, of course you should do it. For that they’re still great.

If your family wealth can support you, do what you prefer and study liberal arts if you like. Just leave your property to be managed by someone who went to the STEM depts.
