Fortunately, half of the ‘actions’ these people take are just posturing to give them warm fuzzies about being on the right side of the issue, ‘consiousness raising’ and such (as if ‘raising consciousness’ or ‘starting a dialog’ every fixed a problem). It would be far worse if they actually, you know, did something.
